STV news understands that plans are being put in place for Charles Green's newco Rangers to drop down to Division One next season as part of a restructuring of Scottish football. But already Several First Division teams have stated their objection to allowing a newco to play in Scotland's second tier. The news comes as 13 players reported back for pre-season training. In other news; Four men have appeared in court accused of abducting, torturing, and murdering missing financial adviser Lynda Spence. The 28 year old was last seen leaving her parents' home in Glasgow Harbour in April last year. The four deny the charges before them.
